This time, I was building an organization.
As an independent marketer and team leader, I brought the marketing and people sides together. My part was building and managing an organization of independent representatives.
The people were part of the work.
Building an organization called on a different mix of skills from building a website or a product.
I worked across the marketing and team-leadership responsibilities as the organization grew. It gave me a place to put those years of studying business, people skills, and leadership into practice.
